Official campaign for ethical veganism and human rights in Quebec

Access to plant-based food is a human right, given that section 2A of the Canadian Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms gives every Canadian citizen the right to freedom of conscience. Ethical veganism can be considered an example of a belief system or secular ideology. Therefore, public institutions such as hospitals, schools and government institutions cannot discriminate against people whose conscience compels them to choose plant-based foods.

On the 1st of September 2019 we are launching an official petition in the province of Quebec. The petition will be online and open for signatures only until the 1st of December 2019

We really need your help before and during these three months of the campaign in order to reach the maximum number of people. If you would like to be part of the team around this important campaign, Join the team.

We are also looking for one or more Volunteer Coordinator of Vegan Option Quebec to lead this effort.
